Analog to Digital Converter (DAC) - Contol and Instrumentation - Multisim

ANALOG TO DIGITAL CONVERTER

In electronics, a analog-to-digital converter (ADC, A/Dor A-to-D) is a system that converts a analog-signal into an digital-signal

  1.   8 - Bit Flash ADC

  2.   2 - Bit Flash ADC

Here we use these to methods of conversion

8 - Bit Flash ADC:

Simulation Diagram:

This Experiment is done by varying the variable resistor percentage and mark the corresponding voltage and value in seven segment display

* this experiment the variable resistor should be placed like this only otherwise you will get inverted value*

Components Used
  1. ADC
  2. Multimeter
  3. Seven Segment Hex Display  - 2
  4. Vcc
  5. Dc Source
  6. Probe - 8
  7. Potentiometer or variable resistor can be used
  8. Voltmeter or can multimeter can be used

This Experiment is done by change the amplitude value on the function generator with respect to the analog input in tabulation and note the glowing of probe.

Components Used
  1. LM324AD
  2. Function Generator
  3. Resistor  1 K ohm   -  4
  4. Vcc
  5. IC 7404 ( NOT gate )
  6. IC 7408 ( AND gate )
  7. IC 7032 (OR gate)
  8. Probe  -   2
  9. Ground

To find  LM324AD

When you place LM324AD it will show abox like below you have to click any a, b, c or d in new column
every time u=you place the next IC
